crops without depleting the existing soil and water resources and to preserve them for future generations.
Scientists were looking for new revolutionary ways in agrotech and found hydroponics as an answer to
meet the ever-increasing demand for crop cultivation and vegetable production.

Hydroponics is the future of agriculture and comes as an answer to the impending issues with population
explosion and climate change. We have a lot of mouths to feed and less space to grow such ample crops.
Cultivation in modern times is also affected by water constraints, climate changes, environment
conduciveness, etc. Scientists were constantly innovating on new ways to grow more food and
hydroponics comes as an answer to this.
Hydroponics also comes as a solution to problems with fertilizers and pesticides that are used on plants
to enhance productivity and yield. With the help of hydroponics, it is not only possible to grow huge
volumes of crops within a short time span but grow them naturally without making use of fertilizers and
pesticides.
Hydroponics and vertical farming are touted as solutions to the problem of excessive land usage in
traditional agriculture. While most of this arable land be used to grow rice, wheat, maize, and other
crops, hydroponics can be used to grow lettuce, tomatoes, and other fruits and vegetables with the help
of indoor veggie garden kits.
Hydroponics systems are soilless and plants are grown here in an isolated space separated from
environmental stress, diseases, pests, etc. with the help of drip irrigation techniques. The system is able
to avoid a lot of trouble caused by conventional farming methods.
